Kenya's telecom regulator has penalized Airtel and Telkom for poor service, likely due to customers experiencing dropped calls, slow internet, and uneven coverage.
Canza Finance, a Nigeria Web3 neobank, secured $2.3 million in a strategic round led by Polychain Capital. Protocol Labs, Avalanche's Blizzard Fund, 99 Capital, Stratified Capital, Hyperithm, and others joined the investment.
Zeal, a fintech startup in Egypt raised $4 million in funding. Raed Ventures and Cur8 Capital led the round, with participation from several angel investors.
