Hello there, please tell us your name and what you do. Take your time to brag about your work too!
Shola: My name is Shola, and I'm a software developer. I've been coding for about 10 years now.
Wunmi: I'm Wunmi, a writer and content creator. I write everything from articles to creative pieces, and I'm passionate about storytelling.
Let's get to the real deal, so where and how did you guys meet?
Shola: Amazing story, actually. On Twitter. She messaged me about an NGO project she was working on. I noticed she had been following me for a while, engaging with my tweets, and then we finally decided to hang out in person.
Wunmi: We met on Twitter, like he said. I was working on this NGO campaign and I slid into his DMs. Well, that's how it started anyway.
So when did you start seeing each other? It started as a friendship, right?
Shola: Yes, definitely started as friendship.
Wunmi: Yes, more of a situationship initially. He's scared of commitment 😔.
Oh, how long has this been going on? And what does it feel like?
Shola: It's been amazing. For like a year now. Or sorry, 2 years. Time flies when you're having fun, right?
Wunmi: Hmm, it's almost 2 years now and it's kind of amazing. He's a man at the end of the day, plus a Lagosian, and as Damilare Kuku said, nearly all of them are mad. Lmao. But this one is a good kind of mad.
So, when was the first time you guys met physically?
Wunmi: It was at a game house in Lekki. We played games, drank, and then went to eat Amala at this local spot. It was such a great time.
Shola: So, it was meant to be an innocent meet-up at a pub. The plan was probably hang out, eat, do some bowling, then go our separate ways… but alas. The night ended with her on my bed, and let's just say it was quite orgasmic.
Wunmi: Carry speaker o, tell the world.
Shola: Tell me you didn't like it oh 🌚
Wunmi: I'm not saying anything! laughs
What was your first impression when you met each other?
Wunmi: I really don't know what my first impression was. I'm sure he was thinking "I can't get enough of this babe.
Shola: Actually, let me answer the first impression question properly. I saw her like one of my younger sisters, someone to be taken care of and protected. I didn't initially see her as a romantic interest, which is funny now.
Wunmi: SMH. Liarrrr.

How long had you been talking before you finally decided to meet each other?
Wunmi: Let's say 6 months or so of consistent chatting and getting to know each other.
Who is more romantic between the two of you?
Wunmi: Meeeeeeeee, obviously!
Shola: Lmaoooo! She thinks she's romantic. Honestly, none of us is naturally romantic oooo. It's something we have to learn.
Wunmi: He likes arguing, just leave him. I'm definitely the romantic one.
What are your favorite activities that you enjoy together?
Wunmi: You mean aside from sex? Maybe taking long walks together. But he likes overdoing it - we once did a 12k walk in a single day. My legs were crying.
Shola: Well, walking is a good exercise you know, as we are still on leggedis Benz.
What are some of the most memorable moments you have shared together?
Shola: Many moments, but what stands out to me was when we were taking pictures by the pavement on the road, just sitting down and not caring about who was watching. It felt so free.
Wunmi: 🤔 I think spending New Year's together was special, just holding each other as the year changed. Oh, and cooking together too, if that counts. He's not romantic at all, I have to teach him everything.
Oh, who is the best cook between the both of you?
Shola: Lmao! I'm not even in the competition. One time she cooked this jollof rice that was so good, my sisters sang her praises for a whole month.
Wunmi: Lmao, I literally can't let him cook rice for me to eat. I'm glad he's comfortable though, that way we mostly just buy food. Also, I'm a good cook - a cooking school dropout, but still good.
How do you handle disagreements or conflicts?
Shola: We argue a lot, but it's usually about small things. We're both stubborn, so it can get heated, but we always talk it out.
Wunmi: So when we disagree, he tries to solve the problem while I want him to understand how I feel first. We've learned to meet in the middle.

How do you express love and affection towards each other?
Wunmi: We don't do that here. Lmao, kidding. Shola, you go first.
Shola: I think I show love through actions - making sure she's comfortable, taking care of her needs, being present. I'm not great with words, but I try to show up consistently.
Wunmi: He's more of an acts of service person. I'm more vocal and physically affectionate. I like saying "I love you" randomly and giving hugs.
What are the three things you love most about each other?
Shola: She cares about other people at the expense of herself. Lol, there was this time that she made us buy food for a total stranger. Out of nowhere.
—when she’s running a cause, she sees it to collection.
— just the way she smiles really and everything about her.
Wunmi: He's incredibly smart, caring, and very responsible. One story that made me love him even more: we were taking an evening walk and saw one of those young boys who pick plastic bottles, and he was picking biscuits from the floor to eat. I suggested we buy him food, thinking maybe one plate, but Shola got like 3 full plates with fish and meat, and let the boy choose what he wanted. He acts tough sometimes, but he's really sweet.
NB: when we're together, I don't spend a dime, he's got me covered.
What's your love language?
Wunmi: His love language is definitely physical touch and acts of service. And sex, obviously.
Shola: laughs She's not wrong. But for her, it's words of affirmation and quality time.
Have you ever woken up beside each other? What comes to mind when you look at them?
Wunmi: Yes, many times. He's so peaceful when he's sleeping. I'm always like "this is my baby", my sugar daddy, actually.
Shola: We don't kiss and tell here. grins But plenty times, and it's always this feeling of "how lucky am I that this amazing woman finds me worthy of sharing her space and her life with?"
What challenges have you faced as a couple?
Shola: Distance sometimes, since we don't live together. And balancing our work schedules, we're both pretty busy people.
Wunmi: Communication styles. I’m very direct, he can be more indirect sometimes. And he is really scared of commitment.
What are your future plans together?
Wunmi: I think a proper vacation together would be nice. Maybe getting married eventually. He already knows he's not going anywhere. Oh, and maybe trying some... adventurous things together like threesome.
Shola: Who is doing threesome things with you? Look at this one o, egbami elaja.
Wunmi: Me and you, obviously.
On a scale of 1-10, what would you rate your partner?
Shola: 101. She's beyond the scale.
Wunmi: He's a 7. The guy likes acting high and mighty sometimes, but I love him anyway.
Shola: Only a 7?! What do I need to do to get to 8?
Wunmi: Keep being yourself, and maybe cook better rice.

Nice👍 but I couldn't help noticing some glaring things like them arguing a lot and him being "really scared of commitment." It's not normal and shows there are underlying issues that needs to be resolved.
