Zazuu, a fintech startup based in the U.K. focused on the African market, has unfortunately ceased its operations. The closure is attributed to challenges in securing additional funding.
Egyptian ed-tech startup Akhdar has successfully raised a significant six-figure dollar funding round, and the backing comes from Value Maker Studio (VMS), a venture studio based in Saudi Arabia.
Shekel Mobility, the Nigerian B2B trading platform with auto deals in Africa, has raised $7 million in seed funding. Ventures Platform and MaC VC led the round.
Ghana's Central Bank has prohibited eight money transfer organizations, including LemFi, Wise, Transfer Go, PayPal’s Xoom, SendValu, Boss Revolution, Aza Finance, and Supersonicz, from offering remittance services without regulatory approval.
